More than 100 elementary school students from the Troy Prep Charter School were on campus June 8 for the school’s annual Fun Day that celebrates the end of the school year. The students and their teachers were at the college’s Outdoor Athletic Complex. (The event was suspended for two years due to the pandemic.)
Steve Gioneni, director of Operations for Troy Prep, expressed his appreciation to the college for hosting the event. “We’re already looking forward to next year. Our students love the HVCC campus,” Gioneni said.
The group also will be invited back to campus in the fall to participate in one a college and career exploration program coordinated by the Student Affairs Division.
